These terms cover use of jcroofing.com and the text message notifications we provide to our employees. They do not replace any written proposal or contract for roofing work. Where a signed contract covers a specific job, that contract governs that work.
Using this website
Content on this site is provided for general information. Descriptions of services, materials, pricing and availability may change without notice. Submitting a form on this site does not create a contract or oblige us to perform work.
Estimates and proposals
Quotes and estimates are subject to inspection of the property and to a written agreement. The terms of any specific job, including scope, price and payment schedule, are set out in the proposal or contract for that job.
Text message notifications
JC Roofing & Insulating, Inc. provides text message notifications to its employees through its internal job tracking system.
Who this applies to. These notifications are available only to JC Roofing employees who have been given an account in our job tracking system by a company owner. This is not a public service, and we do not send text messages to customers or the general public through this system.
Consent. Text notifications are off by default. An employee turns them on by checking a box in their own profile settings within the system, and can turn them off again at any time in the same place.
What we send. Notifications that a repair or quote request has been assigned to the employee, and occasional updates about a job already assigned to them. These are operational messages. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Frequency. Message frequency varies with workload, typically a few messages per week.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply depending on the recipient’s mobile plan. JC Roofing does not charge employees for these messages.
Stopping messages. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or turn notifications off in profile settings. Reply HELP for help. Stopping text messages does not affect email notifications or access to the system.
Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy. Mobile numbers are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share mobile numbers or SMS consent with anyone.
Intellectual property
Text, images and other content on this site are owned by JC Roofing & Insulating, Inc. and may not be reproduced without permission.
Limitation of liability
This website is provided on an as is basis. We are not liable for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this website. Nothing in these terms limits our obligations under a signed contract for roofing work.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa.
